The Campbell River Salmon Foundation is a registered charity and not for profit organization developed to promote salmon enhancement in watersheds north of the Oyster River and south of the Salmon River and the adjacent mainland coast.
Comprised of an experienced and knowledgeable group of working professionals and retirees, the Board of Directors of the Campbell River Salmon Foundation bring a credible resume of past salmon enhancement projects along with a unified and politically neutral mission of enhancing and restoring salmon and their habitat.
3rd Annual Dinner, Auction & Dance
Our third annual dinner, auction and dance will be held on Saturday March 13, 2010 at the Campbell River Community Center. This is our major fundraser and has been a huge success in the past. Tickets are $75.00 including membership and are available through Mike Gage at (250)287-4368
Membership
We are currently seeking members, sponsors and partners to support our salmon enhancement and public education initiatives and help build stronger salmon runs and healthier habitats for our future generations to enjoy. By becoming a valued member, sponsor or partner of our organization you will be included in our semi-annual newsletter with project updates and photographs as well as receiving member rates for fundraising events. Project Funding
The Campbell River Salmon Foundation believes in supporting volunteerism as it relates to community-based salmon habitat rehabilitation and aquatic stewardship volunteer capacity-building initiatives.
Projects that support Pacific salmon and that meet the Community Salmon
Program criteria will be considered.
